Monday morning Michelle and I found out way to the Institute Catholique for my french class. Michelle met up with Hailey while I was in class with a few other girls. We met our teacher who seems really nice, and we took a placement test. Pretty sure most of my answers consisted the phrases "Je ne sais pas." or "Je ne comprend pas." A few other girls in my class were moved up to the 201 class, I was surprised my teacher didn't contact Monsieur Lee saying something like, "This Tiffany girl is an embarrassment, there is no way she will learn this language... might as well just send her back home to America."
After the long three hour class we got lunch at the Institute Catholique. I had an amazing almond croissant... seriously, it was so good. Then we went to the Institute at the church for religion class. For the class we have to give a big presentation. He gave us a list of topics to choose from; I am doing Spencer W. Kimball and the 1978 revelation on priesthood. I am excited to learn about that.
After class we wandered around the area, went to a Monoprix and an Office Depot. Then we met up with a bunch of girls to celebrate Ali's birthday! We found our way to a Greek resto. Others ordered Gyro's but I got a sandwich (which ended up being the same thing but on bread) I wasn't a big fan. It just didn't have enough flavor for me... but I ate all my fritz!
To end the evening we went to F.H.E! It was so fun! We first had a lesson on the Book of Mormon with the missionaries - so there must have been an investigator there. There were only 6 of us girls there, and so we basically doubled the group. After the lesson we played, "Do you love your neighbor?" It was SO fun! We were all running around, laughing and loving everyone there. I met three Chinese girls who were absolutely adorable. I think they see me as a blonde Asian because they kept taking pictures of me while I was playing the game. They were so cute and so happy to make American friends.
That was my activities for my Monday - F.H.E was definitely the highlight! I cant wait to go again.
