22h00 San Sebastian, Spain.

"Hola Chicas!" Today we went to España!

When we first arrived we went walking towards the beach, but a few girls wanted to go shopping first so I went with them. Obviously they had to go get their diet coke first. Once that was taken care of we went and watched some Basque dancers. It was cool to see the traditional Basque dancing, and the old costumes. Once we got our videos and pictures we went down a street where it looked like it would have good shopping. We saw a Zara and decided to go there. I went to the men section and found like 10 different things I wanted to buy Cassidy. I didn’t have all the measurements I needed to get him something, so I’ll have to wait until I can shop in Paris. I ended up getting the coolest gypsi pants for myself though! They are mens pants, but they are super cool. They look like a sweater vest, and they are super soft. I'm pretty sure they were supposed to be capri’s but they are pants on me. I'm hoping they will fit Cass, and that we can share!

After shopping we went into a cathedral where a wedding was going on. Most of the women in the church were wearing different hats just like the royal wedding. We had to meet Aaron at 13h30 for lunch; we went to a Pinchos bar! It is where the bar is covered in different bites of food, you take things that you want to try and pay for them after you ate them. So my whole lunch only cost me 4 Euros. I loved the food and the atmosphere. We walked around with Aaron one last time before he left to Roma.

We spent the rest of the day on the beach. I didn’t have my suit so I stayed on the beach with the other girls and listened to music. I saw plenty of topless women on the beach today... I thought about joining them, but I decided against it. I'm dead serious, I really did think about it. When we left the beach we found a churro and dipping chocolate food truck next to the beach. I was so happy. Have I mentioned to you all just how much I love food? Good food?? Yeah… French food, Spanish food, love it.

After buying a few post cards we met up with the group and Lauren had a big surprise for me! She said she got me a present, and I thought that was a bit random… but guess what she pulled out of her bag? NESQUICK!!! I was so excited and I laughed so hard! She saw it and just had to buy me some because she had heard me mention so many times how much I wanted chocolate milk! How sweet is that? Thanks Lauren, you’re the cutest. During my excitement we then went to a quick art museum! My first art museum of the trip. It was an exhibition by the artist Marc Chagall. He had a lot of really cool art pieces; he had a very unique style. Here is an example of one of his pieces I saw today:

When we got back to St. Jean de Luz we hurried into town to go to the notebook shop. During the trip there has been times when Monsier Lee wants us to take notes… I have been taking my notes in my 1,000 journal project, which I didn’t want to do. (link to what a 1,000 journal project is: http://www.1000journals.com/ ) Lauren told me earlier about this shop and how adorable it was. She was right! I found a cute journal with a cat on the front wearing a bowtie – “Obviously.”

Because tomorrow is Sunday, we went to the store to buy some snacks for the road tomorrow. On our way to the market I found a cheese store. The women in the store were so friendly, I absolutely loved them. They offered me a sample of cheese with some pepper jelly made from those famous peppers I was telling you about! They were so nice and it was so good that I had to buy some. To my two mothers, you’ll be getting them in the mail soon! I hope you like it Joni, if it is too spicy I’m sure Bob will enjoy it!

To end the evening and our last night stay in this beautiful town, we ended where we started. We went and got a Panini and ate it on the beach. Michelle also got a Belgium waffle with Nutella, and Sam got a beignet. After we hung out on a beach we went back to our hotel!

I luckily got to Skype the love of my life, and my family. I was so happy to see Matt & Emily! I hope life is going well!

Tomorrow I have church and I am going to a new city, I actually have no idea where I am going though. I’ll find out. Gotta go pack and go to bed!
